Tube - 2 - FET conversion??

Hey I read in a fairly old thread a mention of a Tube2FET conversion method that is (was) supposidly on RunoffGroove, but I cant find it. Can anybody take a poor newbie by the hand and point? <Grunting too is purely optional>
