they claim it's true bypass, so of course i had to open it  :icon_twisted:

it actually is but with a twist, it's a relay #TQ2SA-L2-5V

i have the DT-10 but was annoyed by it's size and buffer so i jumped on this one... quite happy so far, the switch is a mini pad type actuated by a fake DPDT switch... not sure about that one  :icon_neutral:

the cool thing, when it's OFF, it actually is OFF! meaning the power is totally off, 0 mA current draw! when it's ON and you remove the battery, the relay shuts down and signal goes through by default so the pedal only draws power when you use it.... very good idea i think, worth buying a new tuner

on the bonus side, you can use it as a regular tuner, or as a strobo-tuner and it really feels (precision and usability) like the Strobostomp at a fraction of the price ($80)!

a winner!
and for diehard modders i think it would be easy to put a real 3PDT and "real jacks" since the mini-switch has only 4 contacts...

I would be very interested in a 3PDT true bypass mod for this pedal (I know it already is, I just like the 'feel'
of a clunking switch  Old school I know:)  ).  Does anyone know of a link/instructions for it?

cheers
