Hi to everyone!  :)  My first post, but I've been lurking/learning and haven't needed to ask any questions till now.

Basically, I want to install 2 8-pin DIP sockets for dual opamp chips into a pedal.  I want to have a switch to select between the chips or stack the chips together ( A/B/Stacked).  This way I'd be able to compare different opamps within the same pedal on the fly.   I'm having a hard time narrowing down my favorite chips, because of the gap of time from swapping them in/out.  Here's the questions/concerns:
What parts do I need for this?  Will there be any problems switching while power is supplied?  If so, is there a way to remedy?

I realize I could do this on a breadboard, but I think it'd be a nice feature for the pedal.  Forgive me if this has been posted and please point me in the right direction, I haven't been able to find any info on this subject.   I appreciate all help.  Thanks!
