I think the Dr Boogie will be right up your street for some Skwisgar tones... Very nice and heavy build.

Other than that... Try it on your proper amp... sure someone'll come up with another thing to try if it hasn't worked.

Dude I can't wait to build it.  I'm gonna breadboard this one I think...had too much hassle soldering/resoldering with the
BSIAB2 (which is awesome...love that crunchy warm tone!).  But yeah I'm gonna Triple XXX it in the next hour or so.

Does anyone have any ways do de-gain the BSIAB2 a bit?  I know that my pickups are super hot (EMG 81/85) but I'd still
like a bit less.  Oh yeah I know about the JFET swapping mod too, BTW...any other ways?

I'm having an issue with the diode blowing in the bsiab2...anyone know why this happens?  It's happened once, so i replaced
it, but it's happende again.  kind of embaressing, cos i gave it to a mate to try/potentially buy and he says it blew on him.

r14 on the ggg schematic is 82k ,if you lower it to say 50k it will lower the gain ,or even clip in a 100k resistor in parallel to try...
worked for me, gives more oomph and less hash.
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!

as it turns out I put a resistor over the gain pot, lowering it to around 46K...worked pretty good, but maybe your way it better!
I'll try it on the next bsiab i make (i start tomorrow).  Thanks matey!   ;D
