Hi,

Was looking at a few power supplies on trademe (New Zealand version of ebay) and was wondering what sort of maximum current rating would be good for running a pedal (insanity box to be specific, assuming i can get it to work  ???).
And also looking at possibly running another pedal off this supply at a later date.

Thanks, Hamish

Godlyke make an excellent guitar power supply called the 'power all' which can provide ~1.7A- more than enough to daisy chain most pedalboards if they'll play nice on a shared power supply.

Mine only cost me 1.5x the cost of an official Boss pedal power supply, which was bigger, gets hot, and only provides a few hundred mA.

If you can't find the godlyke I think Visual Sound make something similar called a 'One Spot'- so called because the 'wall wart' thing is no wider than the plug socket (although that is of course no great achievement here in the UK it's quite impressive on US connectors!)
