Multi foot switch: momentary and/or latch

Hi All,

I am playing around with my pedal board trying to downsize it. One of the things that I can get rid of is the King Kontroller from my Mesa Boogie Road King. I am able to use foot switches plugged into 1/4 jacks to switch channels, reverb, loops, and solo. I am using a Boss dual foot switch but it takes up a lot of room. I would like to build something in a larger box that would have the channel switching and maybe so of the other functions. There would need to be a 1/4 jack for each function and I would need to be able to switch each jack to either momentary or latch and possibly pole. Do I just put in a switch for each jack with an LED? How would it be powered? On the channel switching, can it change from one channel to the other and turn off the previous channel. Right now, when I turn on the power for the board, both channels come on and I am afraid that might damage my amp. It should go to a default channel then switch channels. Any ideas? I have looked at some other foot switches but they are either too expensive or to complicated.

Thx for the help.
