Volume pot question

Hi I'm trying to add a input pot to a fuzz pedal. It's working ok but I'd like to know if there's a way of setting a lowest volume point? By this I mean that it won't turn completely down. Is there a way of achieving this?

Add a resistor (value of your choice, but probably on the low end like 1 to 10K)  between ground and the pot leg going to ground.  This way even with the pot "off" the resitor will still provide some resistance to ground and leave you some signal.
