Truthfully I am looking for something full and beautifully harsh.

Here are some examples of commercial boxes that sound the way I would like a diy pedal of my own to sound. Something similiar to the rockbox overdrive when it is cranked gain to full. Some of the klons heavier tones. Like a flex drive when it's cranked up. Something like a Modern rock sound that is full like a Mesa boogie f100 at half gain. But not the dr.boogie. I liked the sound clips of a pedal I listened to called "the tornado" but I could not find a layout. I have considered the krank fm. But on the milder side

The schematic for the Tornado is in the Layout Gallery here. Where did you hear sound clips of this pedal? The schematic looks interesting enough to hear the clips?

after listening to it. i am thinking about just going ahead and building a smash drive. its cheap enough and easy enough in labor that, if i dont like it. i wouldn't mind keeping it around anyways lol

whats the BEST tonestack you guys have used with the smash drive?

I have always wanted to do a baxandall on a cocentric pot. Anybody know where I can buy those pots cheap? Guitar fetish has one with wires attached and a plug I figure I might e able to cut te plug off and wire it in but idk
