A friend of mine has a Keeley BD-2, but he prefers the overdrive of his amp over his pedals, so he doesn't use it much.  He wants me to turn it into a fuzz pedal for him and I told him I'd look into it.  I'm considering the Fuzz mod on page 87 of HTMGP.  Although I haven't look at the board, I have a suspicion that C100 is not its original value.  Do you guys see any problems with doing a straight fuzz mod without changing the other Keeley specs?
-Thanks

He should sell it if he doesn't like it, consider how much the Keeley version is worth ?
There are plenty of much better "Fuzz" sounds out there than hacking that BD-2 up :-)

the fuzz mod does sound really good on these but you have to weigh out the options. you can build a fuzz face for just a few more parts than modding the bd-2.
When your life is over, will any of this STUFF really matter?

Thanks guys.  I just met with Phil, looked at his setup and talked to him about the mods and he decided he didn't want to mess with the keeley.  He does want me to lower some noise in his MXR dyna comp and his MXR 10 band EQ.  I think I might offer to exchange the bd-2 keeley for cleaning up the MXRs : )
