Probably old news to your guys, but I just tried this mod. It's awesome! I now can see a use for a DS-1 besides using it as a projectile.

Thanks! I've been trying to decide which mod to impose on my ds-1 and the JCM was my best hunch.  I'm glad you like it.  I wonder what it will sound like through my Mark II and JCM cab?  Probably way too loud.  I have to admit, I love the ds-1 as is.  By itself, it sounds kinda weak and low on mids, but with drums and bass, it kicks tonal butt.
