There's an ancient thread about building fuzzes from the components inside energy-saving light bulbs. I'd suggest that 23 finds it and posts in it to bump it to the top again.

Im thinking it will be similar to the trotsky? anyone know for sure.... im trying to find a circuit to put into a 1590A i have, something other than a booster... and Im not good at working in these little boxes, its going to be a challenge for me oh and Im perf boarding the circuit.

It will have a bit more gain than a Trotsky because it has that additional capacitor bypassing the 1k feedback resistor. Otherwise it's basically the same.
And you could change the 4.7k resistor to a 10k for a bit more.

thanks........ gonna build this and try to stuff it into a 1590A........4.7k to 10k also
