Perf board Soldering?

Are there any tutorials or sites recommended on perforated board construction...the kind without copper pads or any printed on connections...I'm sure it's more work of course, but I just find it interesting. I found a mention of soldering both sides where the leads pass through the boards...and soldering component to component...
Any info would be greatly appreciated

I cant think of any ,its fairly simple depending on what your building.
For some good examples of how to do it/ lay it out ,search Frequency Central ,and look at Rick Holt's excellent work with perf.
Also the ROG (run off groove) web site has lots of good examples of perf jobs as well as on their original Home Wrecker site.

I've found recently that there are a ridiculous number of "how-to" vids on youtube. It's always worth taking a look. I just recently learned from a youtube vid how to trim a rack of spare ribs "St. Louis" style and remove the membrane, for example. Best spare ribs I ever ate, BTW...  

If you do searches on "perf board" there are other vids too. BTW- I would suggest pulling the components down snug to the board. I usually keep one lead straight and loop the other lead around it, pinching it tight, before soldering.
