Dual fx pedal switching layout

I've got two fx circuits I really like (one OD, one fuzz) and I'm going to incorporate them into one double pedal. I wanted a separate bypass for each effect, and since they sound good either way round (i.e OD->fuzz or fuzz->OD), I made a simple 3PDT "Juggler" switch layout to reverse the chain order. I also decided to throw in a series/parallel switch just for the fun of it and here is what I've come up with -

I've got a few questions:

1) Does this look like it will work? If not, does anyone have a link to another a working layout for a series/parallel switch? I've searched with no luck.
2) I know it's likely to be noisier than your average pedal due to the mass of input/output wires criss-crossing each-other:
Apart from using shielded cable, any other tips to reduce noise?
3) Are the mode switches likely to pop, and if so, is the standard 1M to ground resistor trick likely to help?

Any other useful suggestions/vituperative abuse gratefully received...
