HELP with OCD Build!

Just build this OCD clone and low and behold it doesn't work. I really have no idea where to start looking for a problem. All grounds are attached to the tip of the output jack. I am using a NE5534P IC instead of the TL082 (saw it was in the fuzzrocious demon). But other than that everything looks fine. When the pedal is engaged I get no signal, but when just touching things I got sound when touching lugs 7 and 8. When doing that the tone control seemed to work but backwards the hp/lp switch worked too. The volume sort of worked but it was lower than my clean signal and just cut out about 3/4 of the way through. I had no distortion at all thought. I don't know I can daisy chain pots like how I did or if they need their own wire so I you could tell me if that is ok. I know you guys want schematics but this layout didn't have one so sorry about that.

You'll need to swap the op amp for a dual op amp.  5534 is a single op amp.
Also I think you have some solder bridges.  Run a knife/hot soldering iron between each strip of the vero to be sure there are no bridges.
