I have done this mod to several dl4's where i add a knob onto the actual pedal that is hard wired in... and want to do it to my Eventide timefactor... I cant get the wiring down off the back of the jack of the Eventide... On the DL4 you simply wire lug 2 of a 10k pot to the top left lug of the expression jack and lug 3 to the bottom left lug... The eventide requires a stereo cable and I cant get it to work..? Any advice?

The Timefactor uses a mono jack for the expression pedal input.

Their site says:

Expression Pedal    ΒΌ inch mono phone jack

[edit] And they've also recommended using the output jack of an Ernie Ball VP Jr. (25k version), which is just two contacts: wiper and ground.

Which Expression Pedals are supported?
Our Stompboxes will work with any Expression Pedal that is a simple resistive load (potentiometer) with a max value of 25kOhms. For the best performance we recommend the Ernie Ball VP Jr. 25k. Connect the Output to the Eventide Stompbox Expression Pedal Input. We have also had success with the M-Audio MGear EX.P Expression Pedal.
