Hey Guys,

I'm building a mockingbird guitar at the moment and have been looking at the schematics for the mockingbirds. However it's got a booster/varitone circuit in there which I'd like to know what's in it.

I'd assume that the booster part is something simple like a 1 to 3or4 gain circuit and the variton part would be a 6 selector switch running various caps to ground to change the resonant frequency of the pickups. Probably much like the gibson variton circuit with a booster attached for extra kick. Oh and I think the cap on the selector switch is actually an inductor.

If anyones got a schematic of whats in the booster/varitone part it would be much appreciated or point me in the direction of some circuits that might do the job.

Cheers

Pete
