ok well im rehousing my french toast pedal and i start off by switching the output plastic jack with a metal one, it was fine i tested it out and it worked, but then i de-soldered the input jack, add the metal 1, and i heard kind of a weird crack kinda sound, i ddnt pay much attention 2 it and kept on going, no dice this time. ther was a lot of noise when i'd touch the output jack but nothing wen i touch the input jack. when i touch the output jack and strum my guitar all i hear is my bassman......ive been fiddling my fingers all over the 2 boards 2 see if it would make a difference but nothing.....please help!!! this is my 1st rehouse and i dont have the time 2 order a new dano pedal.

hmm i really can't see much, but are you sure you soldered the jacks properly?

also, very often, people use a stereo jack on the input to make it kill the power then there isn't a jack in it. If you used a mono, you need to take care of that by connecting battery ground to the ground, but it'll drain your batteries when you aren't using it. Then again, based on the pictures, the battery is connected at 2 points to the circuit board. Maybe there's another wire to connect to the jack?

Don't know what else it could be, but good luck
