Eh, it's just a meta-comment about how more people have been diving in head first without "reading the directions" lately. Probably because kids are out of school, it's summer, etc. In any case, the "meta-discussion" went off in another direction about summer in general. Either way, this one is lounge fodder for sure, probably should have been posted there to begin with.
