I designed a distortion pedal from the ground up a couple months ago, and after my prototype worked great I've decided to create a production run of four units.  I thought someone might want to follow along my builds.

Tonights work: ironed, dissolved, patched and ready to etch tomorrow.

Two etches done so far... The other two didn't turn out too great, so I'm redoing them.

The best one:

The okay one.  Some clever painting should fix this puppy up.

Matt, consistently the members of this forum have agreed that this kind of product announcement is against the concept of this forum, which is to support each other in DIY. To post info about selling pedals, including pricing information, is really not what this place is for.

More in line with what this forum is for would be to post a schematic. I can't tell if this circuit is the one in this topic or not, but since you've received help from the community the cool thing to do would be to give back by posting your final schem if you haven't already done so.

Failing that (it's certainly not compulsory to give your schem up, just nice), I just think removing the price and info about how one is already sold would be cool. I'll edit this post afterwards as well, to remove this paragraph.

Sorry about that.  To be honest, it was more of a "this is what I'm up to" rather than a product plug.

Yes, it is the same as the one in that other thread.  I will definitely post my final schematic once I draw it up properly on the PC.  I have supplied transfers and off board wiring layouts, though.

I would edit my posts above like you asked but I can't; they're too old to edit now.  I guess I can report it to a moderator to have it corrected.

Thanks.

I figured you didn't intend it to be a spam thing, and I'm sure you're just excited that people are buying your stuff, but I just liked the unspoiled pastures of DIYSB and hope they stay that way.

Painting the two workable boxes. The other two need major fixing.

I have a major love/hate relationship with this project right now.

Coming together:

Etched a replacement board today for the 4th pedal, and worked on cleaning up the alum for a re-do of the etch for one of them.

Looks really good. I bet a gut shot would be cool to see...
