Hi, I haven't been here for a long time hehe.. I kinda got out of electronics, I've been playing the oud, got heavily into various middle-eastern music traditions. Anyway I've got the bug again, I want to build the liquid sunshine overdrive, I used to have the schematic but it's not online anymore. Has it been taken down on purpose because subdecay doesn't want it to be public anymore or if not can someone share it? I've found old vero layouts but you can only buy perfboard around where I live.. :icon_confused:

Thanks guys and gals.

Here you go: http://www.subdecay.com/images/schemlsv2.gif

Brian had to do a rebuild on the site a while ago and the old one got lost.  This updated schematic shows both the original design and then the mods he later made to make them more consistent.

It's a really nice low to mid gain overdrive.

Question: if I leave out the part highlighted in red do I still connect the "bass" cap and pot to the last pot with the 100k resistor and "treble" cap?

No. It will oscillate like crazy if you do. I have a vero layout somewhere if you're interested.

Thanks for the help, I ended up drawing my own perf layout on DIY layout creator, I'm building it now, if it works I'll share it.
Stupid question  :icon_redface: (it's really been a long time since I touched a soldering iron), the 4.7 cap coming from Q3's source is 4.7uf or 4.7nf? I'm assuming nano, because that value in uf would make the cap polarized no?

Probably the schematic just odens't show that it's polarised- the -ve would just go to ground.
