2SC1000 buffer in Space Echo Replace with FET?

OK, So I want to replace the output buffer in my RE-101 Space Echo with a JFet, maybe something I have laying around like a J201, I'm having a little trouble with finding a Datasheet in english.  Does anybody know if this is an EBC pinout tranny?

The more I get rid of the self noise and input loading of this machine, the more the tape goodness of the echoes shines through, next is my RE-501, though considering it uses mostly TL072's it won't be as much work, a jfet buffer in front of the HA1457 input and reverb driver should take care of most of it's self noise.
