Built a nevovibe, it's working and it has a nice low end pulse, but it doesn't sweep into the high end enough, and consequentally the vibrato sounds off as well..  I'm trying to get the same throb as Jimi's in machine gun where he plays and holds that high B note where you can really hear how his vibe sweeps.. Not trying to be Jimi lol, no one will ever, but if I can get my neo to sound close to that I would really be happy :) It almost seems like possibly one or more of the phase stages is weak.. Tried both kinds of LDR's that SB sells I soldered them flush to the board as instructed, but pretty much the same result  Any tweaking ideas or tests I can perform to see where I'm at?

Thanks in advance.. Dave

Are you using a fuzz & OD pedal, too? Think about how that sound was created: Fuzz into a vibe into a distorted amp. Fuzz into vibe will accentuate the highs. Without an OD pedal or distorted amp after the vibe, the overall sound will be thin, like "Who's That Lady?"

Vibe > fuzz > OD or distorted amp will be a bit different sounding with slightly attenuated highs. But, this will also get you in the ballpark. I actually prefer this setup now after doing it the other way for many years.

If you are using fuzz & OD pedals, & the vibe still doesn't sound "right", it may need some tweaking. I would start by adjusting the lamp bias trimpot a little at a time, listening to how the sound of the sweep changes.
