Radio Signals Buffers and Keeley Compressor

I've been getting some serious radio sounds out of my amp.  Unfortunately it's at bigger gigs (I live in Chicago, anything downtown is crazy-played at Mil Park twice this summer and it was radio central!).  I don't notice it as much at smaller gigs.  So heres the chain

Tele-Keeley 4 knob Comp-homemade TS808-homemade red llama-EB Jr Volume (25k-they gave me the wrong one, this is supposed to be for active pickups)-DL4 or other delays-homemade Fender Deluxe derivative.

The distortions are true bypass.  When they are on the radio sound is unbearable.

OK so is this solved by a buffer?  I know the EB Jr is causing some bigtime tone issues, can the low impedance be causing these problems as well?  Is the issue in the guitar-which is exceptionally noisy even for a single coil?

It's tough to trouble shoot since it doesn't ALWAYS happen.  Any help would be awesome!

Is it AM broadcast or police/taxi? The radio transmitter is always on? Then get to the gig a little early, set up (backstage if they don't want to see you yet), and simplify your rig. I doubt ALL your gizmos are radio-sensitive. Figure out which one catches radio. (Boosters may make a weak radio reception bigger.)

You've plugged in a few things and now...
These things cause troubles. Process of elimination.
Unplug the guitar. Still radio ?
Start over, plug in one at a time...might do it.
A 10k at an input has squelched reception...a shorter sensative wire or shielding has too.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Had same issue on a tube amp...
Sometime got some very annoying radio parasites in it. It's not all the time, but when it come it can be very annoying and few time very loud...
Radio sound became louder when i us my maxon CP-101 compressor.

In fact i didn't success in fixing it, but parasite sound is less frequent and loud since i changed my power supplies cable (amplifier cable), but sometimes i still can hear some German radio (living in France).

Bad grounded amps (first things to check)/guitar/stompboxes use to acts like radio antenna, so the better way to fix that is first to check ground connexion issues.

IT become less loud when i changed my cheap jack cable for better ones.

Soo check your cables, stompboxes... one at a time and you will be able to find which one is responsible for parasites.
But for sure, if you use a compressor, it amplify parasites...

Hope it can be usefull...
regards.

Could be any number of things, but I'll add that I have a tube screamer build that practically works as radio tuner.
If it ain't broke...   ...it will be soon.

Ever seen the film of Jimi Hendrix's disastrous Isle of White appearance?.  At one point he is getting what sounds like very loud police radio coming through his amps.  So it happens to the best of them!.
