Hi!
Can you recommend a good sounding diy delay that sounds good before the amp?
Many delays ive tried only sounds good in the FX-loop.

What delays are your favourites?

I play all my delays into the front of the amp, but the amp is clean. If the amp has distortion, or even overdrive, going, the delay won't sound 'good'. Delays I've used going into the front are a few different pt2399 based delays and an analog delay. Non-DIY would be the DE7, a Belcat Delay, and a DMM. All sounded good into a clean amp.

Ok, thanks for your reply!
I think the PT-80 on GGG sounds really good in the clips.

Maybe i will try that one first.

Hi
although they are tricky builds, the analog delays sound good.  Probably the best choice for clean and acoustic.  Digital fits rock and metal.
A couple of years ago a new analog chip came out (can't remember the code, sorry).  You'll find it with the search function.
