Bluesbreaker clone diode selection?

well i finally found a vero for a bluesbreaker but it had to be a KOT clone...
the diode choices are strange but if i'm gonna do it i want to do it right. is there anything similar to the ma856 diode that is easily obtainable through small bear? i'm gonna order all my parts from there and PPP (they have the 121588's). thanks
