Does the MXR Carbon Copy have a boost section?

Every time I click the pedal on I notice a boost in the midrange. I really like it! Was wondering if there is a boost or buffer in there somewhere.

Nah.  Probably just the teeny peak at the corner frequency of the lowpass filters that can occur when people introduce a bit of resonance to steepen the filter.
