Thanks for the info. I am looking into getting the home powder coating system from Harbor Freight. I have some concerns about using a compressor and getting it to put out at the (5-10psi ??) required air pressure. Also, it seems to me that A LOT of the decal paper would be wasted when creating a graphic. You create a decal, for lets say a 1590BB, it all works out good. So what do you do with the rest of the decal sheet? Are these decals from Texascraft able to withstand MULTIPLE runs through a laser printer?

Hello,

To do a decal economically take a sheet of regular paper mark an 'x' in one corner, your registration mark, run the sheet through your printer printing your decal artwork.

Cut a piece of decal paper a little larger then the decal artwork and attach it the paper you just printed covering up your decal art. I use a piece or two of an Avery label, you want something very low tack because it has the potential to come off in the printer and something vey sticky could be a big pain to try to clean up.

Now put your original printout with the attached decal paper back in the printer, make sure the 'x' you marked earlier is oriented in the same corner as the original run through and print you decal. You just need to attach the leading edge of the decal to the backing sheet and it will run through the printer no problem.

Thanks Dave. I have been searching for a good and clear "decal" type of solution for my enclosures. I was just using bumper sticker paper from Staples and doing full face labels then clear coating but, I always had to color match with the enclosure which was a HUGE PAIN!
Now, I dont have to worry about color matching.

Can these decals accept color laser toner as well? In case I want to do color graphics.
