Any news about the small size neovibe pcb for wha case from R.G. KEEN ?
Are the prototypes are operational ?
Thank you,

I remember seeing a fit-in PCB somewhere (it was crybaby-shaped) but I think it was a limited run. New ones are apparently very small

I find that the write up needed to accompany a PCB takes much longer to do than the PCB itself. The PCB design is done, one proto was done from the first design and it worked, but it did point up some places where the PCB could be made easier to populate, tune in and get working. The second version layout has been done for some time, and it's the write-up (parts list, population diagrams, schematic and references to that particular board, notes on pinout, wiring diagram, part sketches and pin-bending, advice on parts substitutions, back ground information the sex life of the electron... ) that is still being completed.

This is not a particularly good candidate for Press-N-Peel or other toner transfer techniques, as getting the parts all in there and still making it fit the original screw holes and accept the original plug-on connector required stand-up style resistors and close spacing. It is theoretically possible to make it by toner transfer, as it's all single sided except for half a dozen wire jumpers, but the traces had to be as small as 0.012" to fit. Photo resist techniques will have no trouble at all with it, as good photo work goes down to 0.010 easily.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
