so i just finishd a project with a 1590b that i got around a year ago (i think from effects connection)  Well ive spent all morning trying to find screws that would go in the back after the ones that i thought came with it wouldnt thread.  Nothing would start so i got to looking and the screw holes arn't machined for screws ( no threads in them) just a smooth hole. what a pain in the ass.  I have a tap set at work so no huge deal but has anyone came across this.

Not a 1590b but something else which was cheap Chinese crap no doubt.  The threads were sort of half baked in that the tap obviously hadn't done it's job and barely scraped the sides.  I suppose you get what you pay for - I hope you didn't pay much!

Huh, first time I've heard of the screwholes not being tapped. Must have slipped past quality control.
