Equalizer caps - Different types for different frequency ranges?

Hi,

I'm building a 3-band EQ for a pedal.
I'm using polyester caps for bass and midd, but for treble I have two options: polyester or ceramic...

There's the question: is there any difference between the two types of capacitor, considering this particular use?

Thanks! :)

Polyester is more 'faithful' in its response and yield less transient noise, and ceramic tend to be a bit 'gritty' sounding.  Whether you will notice any difference or not, now that's another question ;o)
I'd go with poly if available, ceramic if not or if the poly seems too expensive.

Thanks a lot, I used a green poly.

I've heard that there are differences even between two "sub-types" of the same type of capacitor.
In this case it would be between brown ones and green ones... If this is true I'd like to know why.
