Hi, I got this wilson ten spot wah (wh10'ish clone) from a friend to try and fix. It's passing signal but not wahing . Any suggestions?  I tried swapping out the transistor for an equivalent and the IC but no go

Schematic:  I assume it's very similar to this, except the wilson is true bypass. so it only has the input buffer Q1.

If not for me, for the lovely board that will be brutalised by my heavy handed soldering   :icon_cry:

did you try getting ahold of mr. wilson? he seems like a regular good guy. he might have some shortcuts for you.

Yes I got in touch with Kevin, he was very helpful.

It ended up being a broken trace at where the bass/guitar switch connects with the board - I missed it when I first looked at it and only saw it when replaced the caps. Oh well, now it has better quality caps I suppose :D  Not that it makes it sound any better. Nice sounding wah I think

i missed my chance to get a vintage wh10 in a pawnshop in dallas, i think it was $120. they were selling for around 200 online at that time. does anyone know if the reissue sounds like the old ones?
