Need info."Fuzzie". A pedal that I can't find info on.

I traded a Tremulus Lune for this pedal last week and can't find any info on it. It uses Toshiba 2SB54 transistors. The circuit board is screwed to the top of the pedal. Both volume and fuzz pots are 50k, the volume pot clicks off when you turn all the way down. It sounds like sh*t, I'll put some samples up later. It looks like a fuzz face derivative judging from the parts count, but it's horribly misbiased. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a little info:
http://archive.ampage.org/threads/0/fxdiy/000059/Fuzzie_pedal-1.html#000059

It looks like RG came across that in 1996 and mentioned there were schematics:
"You can find schematics on the DMZ"   ...DMZ? should I know that?

perhaps you can PM him if he doesn't see this thread.

I used archive.org to check out what the Leper site was all about. It was supposedly the 1st online archive
of schematics. Fun to look at...from over a decade ago:

Thanks. I figure it's a Japanese pedal since it has Toshiba transistors, but I have no idea what year it was made, or if it is Japanese. The Germanium Transistors are what confused me with this pedal. I assumed that every pedal maker had switched to Silicon by the early 70s. Maybe the Japanese kept using them until a later date?

Jeremy-I have one of those with a loose circuit board with no wires (evilbay) but the pots and switch are intact.. it is the only thing I haven't repaired yet-do you suppose you could draw me a picture of the wiring hookups with the colors? I would like to hear it once before I get rid of it....Thanks so much!...........dr

DMZ (Digital Music Zone) was Jack Orman's old site. Maybe Jack has some info on this, or still has the schematic?
