I ask, if anyone have used these:
Alpha DPDT momentary switches like this:
http://www.banzaimusic.com/Alpha-DPDT-momentary-pins.html

Do they have the mechanical "click" like the usual latching 3pdt or dpdt swithces?
Im looking for a "soft touch", noiseless, switch. Last time i bought some non-latching spdt that turned to have a loud mechanical noise.

thanks!

Hi,

no, they are not clickless. They have a certain click which is even stronger than the click of the toggle alpha dpdt footswitches. But I found these: http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/701083/ These switches have no click and are pretty reliable.

Cheers

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

thanks! those look nice, not expensive, and sensible shipping costs...
i really liked the pins from the alphas though

also, an SPDT looks more reliable in the long time (simpler mechanics) than a dpdt

RG. thanks for the tip, i usually buy inside EU to cut on shipping and taxes, but your link is appreciated!
