Trying to build a clone of the original, not the reissue (I have one of those). The only schematics I can find are for the current PCB. Can't seem to find clear pictures of the trace side of the board or original schematic anywhere. Attached is where I am at. Circled are my three trouble areas where I can't clearly see the traces. If you happen to have a clear shot of the traces on an original board or a schematic of the original I would really appreciate it.

Tonepad has a schematic and parts list for the original and reissue.
Big Muff, Trotsky Drive, Little Angel, Valvecaster, Whisker Biscuit, Smash Drive, Green Ringer, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, LPB1, Bazz Fuss/Buzz Box, Radioshack Fuzz, Blue Box, Fuzzrite, Tonepad Wah, EH Pulsar, NPN Tonebender, Torn's Peaker...

Not exactly the same. Tonepad has dual op-amp versions only with few differences. Here you can see two single op-amps and probably other things that are not included in tonepad pdf file.

Couldn't you take what you have above regarding the layout and bounce that off of what Francisco has at Tonepad and just "connect the dots" so to speak?   :icon_wink:

Couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd take a crack at this.
Found a couple things in the top circle, and one in the middle circle.

Sleepy now, hope this helps.

Is there audible (or other user-point-of-view) difference between the original and the reissue? Cheers, T.

Thanks edvard.  That is a start.  Not sure what the sound difference is between the re-issue and the original since I don't currently have both to make a comparison. Would like to know for myself though - hence the attempt at building a clone as close as possible to the original.

from what I was able to track, there appears to be no difference but the single vs. dual opamp.
I'm sure from an economic standpoint, MXR (Dunlop?) made a wise choice there, but as far as the actual circuit is concerned there doesn't appear to be much difference.
I haven't had a chance to work any farther on this, but I will when I get another bout of insomnia ;)
