hey whats the layout for these jacks

3   2   1 <hole for jack
^
tip  ^
     sleeve
           ^   
          ring

No idea. If you don't know how to connect to a plug or a socket just hook it up to a cable or a known socket and measure with a multimeter. :)

Two easy ways to be sure with a jack of this style:

1. Plug in a cable. Use your multimeter to see what connects where.

2. Plug in a cable. Physically look as you insert the cable, and note what connects where.

i put a 1/4 inch in it and it looks like it Tip, sleeve, sleeve

Call me on this if it seems harsh, but you can actually hold it in your hand, insert a plug and SEE what is connected to what.

The nomenclature for the parts of a jack are another thing. Starting at the pointy end, Tip, Ring and Sleeve.  Usually in pedals we use the Ring contact on the jack to connect the negative side of the battery to ground when a standard Tip Sleeve plug is inserted.

You could try looking at this link , all the info you need is here. You are correct but remeber there are 6 connections as these are switched jacks.

sorry i didnt check but it looks like you have ring and sleeve mixed up, this similar jack has then named on the drawing pdf
