Most early MKII Tone Benders had the limiting resistor. It wasn't exclusive to the Supa Fuzzes. The Sola Sound made Supas were just another MKII and went through many component changes.
The one you're cloning is a much later version (I believe they were made by Marshall instead of Sola Sound at that point), without the limiting resistor. It has 10µF electrolytics instead of the 5µFs the Sola Sound version used and no capacitor between input and ground (like the earliest and some of the last Sola Sounds).

How many OC75s do you have? Swapping them until you find a combination you like is better than any bias mod.
What are your collector voltages?
