adding bank up and bank down to a line 6 FB4

Hi new to the forum    I have a Line 6 FB4 that I am using to control a POD and a Damage Control, Glass Nexus. I would like to add bank up and down functions to the FB4. After researching some threads and finding a schematic for the board (OP http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=75491.0)   
and the floorboard info, it looks like I should be able to add two momentary switches and the appropriate resistors at the end of the switch chain... has anyone played with these more than what I have found in these two posts?

Just looking for some feedback before diving in
