'gently' check the jacks havent pulled up any traces, they are pretty hinky, happened to me after doing some mods...
also take a good look around where you did the mod... for shorts, residue, lifted traces etc..

checked all over sprayed it done with tuner cleaner to get all the bear off it just as i did to mine .  its like somthin didnt like it and now it doesnt want to beback to normal . could the cap next to r10 gave up . checked all pot and resister and then checked mineall the same

maybee try cleaning it again with light dishsoap and water, maybee the tunercleaner is conductve? wiggle the jacks wires a bit, see if you can get sound to 'jump' through...

Not that I've ever buggered up a stock effects pedal before (blatant lie), but I just snagged a Dan Echo pedal off eBay and got the old girl back in action so let me know if you need any help in at least getting it back to where you started.  I got this one for an embarrassingly low price but was amazed at how good it sounds.  Picked up this and an Cool Cat 18V chorus (which sounds AWESOME) for $15.  I never get these kind of breaks so apparently it was my time...

all i did was put a switch to bypass r10 . since then distorted ,unclear echos that are weak. no warm sound . took it off and same thing could one of the op amps said screw this and is now stuck in a rut? could the cap near it not be doin anything aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh i even went as far as heatin up every solder joint. every thing is clean . like i said my dan echo is a singing ocean of warm waves. i just dont get it . im gonna check my pedal for more resisitance tolerances apposed to his . thanks everybody.

id say if you left the rest alone, and had no stresses on the jacks (a common issue with these), look closely around the 'modded' bits ,scratch away anything that can be connecting traces, measure around the modded area and measure resistances against your functioning pedal. see if you can narrow down where the issue is. best bet is a small short to ground, 2nd is a cold solder joint, 3rd a lifted/broken/semi-broken trace, 4th jacks....,5th? maybee the board to board connection...
anything that can move will eventually break, anything that worked before you did x and then didn't after probably means that x is the culprit. fwiw, you can scratch the green protective coating off of the traces, and solder to them if you need to, i did, after heating and reheating a few pads, and breaking off the trace pads from the board... :icon_lol:
dont forget to plug it in and wiggle stuff a bit... push on that 'mod' spot a bit... see if theres a way where it works, even for a second, just to confirm tha issue.
