For the most transparent clean boost, the mini booster or the mosfet booster?

Between those 2, the mosfet booster will be "Cleaner", so-to-speak.  If you want the "Cleanest" sounding boost though, I'd opt for something opamp based, like the MXR micro amp.

ok, i'll go with the MXR. I forgot about that one but I wanted to try one of those in the past so what the heck. Any thoughts on TL061 subs, or is that the best way to go? I ask because i don't have a TL)61 but i'm pretty sure i have some subs.

Any TL0x1 type would probably work just fine.  I'd stay away from the 741; it's likely to be 'less than clean' sounding

I have some TL072's, so i'm just gonna use one side of one of those. I have the pin out of both so i can figure it out. any tonal reason not to?

No- 1/2 of a 72 will sound the same as a 71.  Although, as long as you've got both halves there, you might consider putting the other half to use as well;

You can use this to build 2 microamps on one board.  You could play with part values to have 2 different 'flavors' of boost, or do as I did; compare a Dist+ or Ross Distortion Schematic with the microamp, and with a few minor substitutions/additions you can have a distortion and boost on one board that will fit in a B sized enclosure.

thats sick. does anybody have PCB's for sale? I have 30 TL072 and 30 LM386. which one should i use? also, If I get these PCB's made do I give them the reversed image or the unreversed image?

Tonepad sells them.  Either IC would work great.  Try a socket and see which you like best.  No idea about the image; I assume whomever would make your boards could tell you that
