hello all! like many I have a plethora of populated pcbs that have not yet made it into boxes and im not sure if they ever will.  In my pile of circuits was the mini mixer from GGG which is a simple four channel mixer.  I also have a rat, bsiab, and gov'nor. for the fourth channel im thinking about using my tubescreamer board.  anywho, I was wondering if this is possible.  can I take a signal and run it into a buffer or booster and then run it into four distortion circuits and mix them together? im planning on having each circuit on a switch to the mixer and one master bypass switch. many of the controls will be set on trimpots to save surface space and money on potentiometers. after the mixer I may run it into another booster or something maybe an ea trem... who knows ill cross that bridge when ill get there.  but yeah....any info on mixing circuits into one pedal would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Davis

ps. does anybody know if the ggg mixer can have more channels added on to it easily?

Yes.

Yes. You can replicate to a quite large number of inputs by adding more input circuts including the series resistor to the inverting input of the opamp.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

This is exactly what I wanted and I was hoping to hear.  Its really good to have confirmation instead of intuition.  Now im going to be much less hesitant to heat up the iron.  Thanks a ton.  Ill report back how it works out. if it works well ill maybe do it with some other circuit sets besides distortion. delays...chorus+Flange+filter. espeacially if I can get a TAPLFO or Taptation to work for the entire box of circuits.
