Been reading this thread and thought I would cost the build, however I am struggling to find some 1n76a diodes, what can be substituted here?
I was thinking a 1n34a but I have very limited knowledge with these kind of things.

That is what I did! I used 1N34A for D1 and D2 and used 4148s for D3 and D4. Sounds fantastic. 

I would definitely recommend using Ricks newest layout (as it provides a place to install R19 and has thicker traces and larger pads.)

Also, definitely install a 1K resistor between Sustain pot Lug 1 and ground as this will keep you from having to raise the Volume AND Sustain to get an output. Just dont install it in the jumper spot like I did!
