Looking to build my first pedal.  I need to build a clean volume boost pedal, no gain.  LED on indicator.  Powered by 9vdc and ac adapter.  All help is appreciated.

Do you mean, little or no distortion? I would build an op amp booster.

Yeah, looking for minimal distortion.  Need something to boost the signal at the end of my pedal chain.  Is an op amp the best way to accomplish tihs goal?

Well the Muff is definitely not clean. LPB, Micro Amp, Mini Booster, NPN Boost are all good and easy builds. So are the ones Aron linked.
Big Muff, Trotsky Drive, Little Angel, Valvecaster, Whisker Biscuit, Smash Drive, Green Ringer, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, LPB1, Bazz Fuss/Buzz Box, Radioshack Fuzz, Blue Box, Fuzzrite, Tonepad Wah, EH Pulsar, NPN Tonebender, Torn's Peaker...

Maybe this one:

Not sure how the pricing is after you but the footswitch, enclosure, etc.  I need to find an old sewing machine pedal!

I would definitely go for the Micro Amp clone.  It's a great circuit and won't color the sound as much as the LPB.  I've been putting Micro Amps in a lot of different pedals lately.

Went with the Micro Amp clone.  We'll see how it turns out! ???
