Hi everybody!

I decided to learn how to make my own PCBs. My main interest is to make different effects to fit in 1590A enclosures in order to have a smaller pedalboard.
I've never used any other PCB program before so I have some difficulties in "getting in" to the program. I was wondering if any of you Diptrace users would like to share the project files of some simple pedal. I think it would work as a great tutorial.
For example, I don't have a clue how to add a 3PDT switch to the schematics....!?! (I will use switches with solder pins)

Best,
Miska

Here is a small diptrace file that will help you with learning. It is a PCB that includes 3PDT jacks etc. I would be happy to help you with any questions you have, if i can.that i can.

What are the advantages of diptrace over Eagle?

Trying to decide what to learn.

I tried quite a few layout programs in the beggining and found that most were really hard to pick up the basics, I then tried diptrace and found that it was so intuitive to learn and the autorouter works very well. I would say try both Eagle and Diptrace and see which one you find suits you best. PCB's done in Eagle can also be imported into Diptrace.

Thank you, Ice-9!
I'm sure I'll have some more questions later on.
