Hey there forum, I built this Wah Pedal:

http://fuzzcentral.ssguitar.com/mccoy.php

it's built with all the stock parts (except the 4uf cap, that's a 4.7uf electrolytic), modded for truebypass, and I haven't built the output buffer schem yet. and it runs awesome and quiet and everything, just about the best wah I've ever played, except when I daisy chain the Wah in front of my dirt pedal(s) [I have a couple]. There's a tiny bit of almost inaudible noise when the dist pedal is off, but when it's on it amps all that noise up to a really annoying level that really gets on my nerves. I've been thinking about ways to take that fuzz out from the signal coming out of the wah, but I don't have a multimeter to measure voltages and whatnot, sorry folks. :( I tried slapping a big ass capacitor across the power supply and that didn't work. I'm thinking I could just put a cap right before the output to block DC, but I really don't know what that'd do to the tone as I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to using caps to mess with tone response. Am I thinking in the right direction here? or if I'm not, could anyone point me in the right one? Worst case scenario, I'll just build a noisegate and that'd be another fun project. :)

Once opon a time I made kindof a lid out of tinfoil that fit over the inductor with a wire attached going to ground. It helped quite a bit with RF and the "sshhhh".
Big Muff, Trotsky Drive, Little Angel, Valvecaster, Whisker Biscuit, Smash Drive, Green Ringer, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, LPB1, Bazz Fuss/Buzz Box, Radioshack Fuzz, Blue Box, Fuzzrite, Tonepad Wah, EH Pulsar, NPN Tonebender, Torn's Peaker...

hahahaha, that sounds a lot like the crazy man who wears a tin foil hat in order to keep the government from monitoring his thoughts. I'll give it a try quick! :D

Dang, I tried that, and there was no difference. I also tried jumpering a bunch of different spots looking for some clues, but I could not find any clues. :/

Unfortunately, I think it is just the wah circuit. I could be wrong, but I've never witnessed a "quiet" wah. I run mine into a DOD 250, so if you've ever experienced the 250, you can imagine the noise I have going on!!
