here is an idea for all those industrious, entrepreneur type people on the forum.
I'm in the process of rearranging some classic circuits inside a boss shell, to get a distortion better suited for my main sound than the DS-1 that has lived a lonely miserable life in there before, and thought that..
"...hmm, if someone made a retrofit PCB for a BOSS-shell, with the flip-flopp, FET switching and input/output buffers, preferably opamp based, at one end and the majority of the board being stripboard. I'd pay for that...hmmm...."

..myself, I'm too lazy to go ahead with an idea like that, but I'm sure many people would be interested in such product. and the real estate left after the switching/FETs /buffers, should be more than enough to build almost any 1-4 knobber people around here usually build..

...I leave it there...just an idea up for grabs..take it or leave it...

Someone with too much time on his hands and a lot of courage could make a retrofit pcb for the Boss MT-2 to turn it into a Dr Boogey.
