B.Blender phase mod - help

I'm in the middle of building a b.blender and i have a couple of questions:

Vr on the bottom connects to Vr near the switch right?

Should i use lin or log pots?
(i dont know if it matters, but i'll be using tl072...

ok, so i've been reading a couple of pages about the bblender and the splitter-blender on runofgroove and came up with this schematic:



as far as i can see, everything checks out, but if i did any mistake please correct me.

Also, the splitter-blender seems a bit of a more detailed project, i was wondering if any of u out there have built one or the other and wich to u thing works best.
Also, can i omit one of the loops of the splitter-blender just by removing the two im resistors and the 220n cap and connect the red send directly to the red return?
