John Hollis ultra flanger trimmers

What are those trimmers for? I see its for the odd/even switch but i cant hear a change when I turn them.

They adjust the level of the regen signal, the lower the resistance the louder the signal, I haven't built it though so I don't know how much of an audible effect they have. I'd guess they are supposed to do something noticeable otherwise John wouldn't have included them.

These trimmers set maximum REGEN volume.

Typically you would:

Set full REGEN, choose ODD (EVEN) and adjust TR1 (TR2) until it selfoscillates (if it does not start to selfoscillate even for minimal value, lower R6 value - or maybe check your build for errors first ).

Edit: you may try to experiment with C2 value to adjust "color" of REGEN btw.
