I am building a MXR distortion+ with a 2P6T rotary switch to select between diodes and a DPDT toggle to select between Hard and soft clipping sections, but i only have enough money to order a small B enclosure from small bear (Like hammond 1590b) and i am not sure if i can fit a rotary switch, toggle switch, medium perfboard (2.83"X1.85"), and 2 pots in the enclosure. please help me i am not a noob, i have a good understanding of electronics and instruments, just not enclosures ;)

They all have MXR style white knobs and it is a small toggle switch

                           Thanks, Ben

Rethink the D+'+s' to fit into a D+ sized box or realize it's no longer D+ simple to fit in the standard box.
Many alternates to diode configurations often later are boiled to 1 or 2 favorites, pre-sampling some of the re-tweeks [make room so diodes can be swapped w/o too much trouble, using small switchlugs and volume pot lug instead of on the circuitboard. Take notes before using the iron to swap, lower threshold 'takes over' so by having two diodes side by side w/lower threshold jumpered through a switch..or you can have two diodes in a row -->l-->l-- in a row jumper wire/no? or put switch across one of them.
I found the cap also was useful to have control to have when varying volume ..so by upping it's value and running it through V/R pot variable treble cut across diodes/output...but then again that's getting away from the simple D+ thing too.
Precut smallwood pieces and miter saw...eh...lotta work...any drillin' from inside do it before glueing the box pieces together, helps if nice tool's 'n forstner or 'rimcut-first' type drillbits, pot and switch threads don't necessarily reach etc.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
