i searched the forum and couldn't find a thing....?

they have pretty low gain. good for boosters?

what color are they and is there a date code on them?

They may be worth either keeping as a collectors item or selling. These are worth a little money!

Wow. A germanium analog scope. Looks simple enough. I'd love to jump into that but it may be a project for my retirement. I'll save the page though! Bit hard to justify building right now, especially with a cool digital scope.

I wonder if you could build this with modern Ge substitutes? Using 19 CK722s is a bit much.

Jrod, I'm getting a silver one off eBay and a packet if ten hopefully from someone all black plastic (first kind before aluminiun can). Haven't seen the codes yet, they should all be '57

I wouldn't want to sell them, or put them in an unloved project. Probably just hold on to them. But will they work alright in typical use for boosts/fuzz etc.?

Oh, ok. I was thinking you already had them. I saw someone was selling those for $99 a piece on ebay. I would think that if the measurements are good they should work in a fuzz or booster. I have never seen a specific circuit that calls for that particular transistor, but it is worth a try in about any fuzz or booster. I am curious to know how they turn out!

my silver one came yesterday. date code is 6013 (look like. bit faded). tester measures it as 20 hfe but also tells me that it can't give an accurate readout due to a resistor shunt. maybe they have a tiny bit of internal negative feedback... or... i dunno. leakage like so many of my raytheons is zero, which is why i love them.

everyone here jumps all over mojo parts, so i was hoping someone could share a story of success or failure with me out of curiosity...
