I've just finished a build of a Mutron Octave Divider, leaving out the ringer section, for use on bass guitar.  It works pretty well but has some tracking problems on the lowest notes as I expected.  Where to start with modding it for bass?
I'm looking at the logic sub board, page 12 of this -> http://homepage.mac.com/sonicvi/mutronoctave.pdf

Do you have a functional layout for this project or did you make your own?
Thanks!

I made my own.  I omitted the whole ringer section and used a 12v AC wall transformer and a +/- 12v DC power section on a separate board.
By doing that I managed to get the whole thing (logic and audio boards) on one single sided PCB, about 5.3"x1.7".

So any ideas?  I've played with the values of C2, R2 and R4 (pg 12) so far with no good results.

C2  100nF..

You don't think you should change R3?

What did you use for Z1?
